Here’s an unusual piece where I deliberately tried to mimic another artists style as well as depicting their signature trademarked character! This is Agatha Heterodyne from Girl Genius by Phil and Kaja Foglio.http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/ It’s a very steampunk comic series!
I did this as a birthday present for a good friend who I knew was a big fan of Girl Genius. It took a lot of research to get it right. I had to figure out how the eyebrows worked, how much of the face is covered by hair, and what constitutes a sufficiently generic and familiar outfit.
